T-Shirt, Bag & Garment Printing
We’ve been printing T-Shirts since 1995 for the Retail, Sportswear and Music Industries.
We’ve gained a lot of experience and can advise on the best print techniques and garments for your designs.
Most of our T-Shirts are screen printed – inks are printed directly onto the shirt.
This is the most reliable technique to achieve a long lasting print as the inks can penetrate into the cotton. For each colour in your design we make a screen with which we print a layer of colour onto the TShirt. We print each colour in sequence to reproduce your artwork. So the more colours in your print the more screens we need to make and the longer it takes us to print your TShirts. Our pricing structure reflects this. We offer a wide range of ink finishes and special effect inks – see Print Methods for more details.

Discharge Ink
A category of Water-Based inks used on coloured and dark cotton. It uses a bleaching system to replace the dye in the garment with the colour you want in your print. It has the same properties as Water-Based inks described above. We can’t guarantee the same colour accuracy with this system as with Plastisol. Some garments are not compatible with this system and we won’t know till we test one.
Plastisol Ink
Traditionally T’Shirts are printed with Plastisol inks – a plastic paste that cures on heating. It’s a very stable and reliable system but large prints can be too thick for some and a Water-based alternative would be best. We can combine Plastisol and Water-based for a soft and durable finish.
Waterbased Ink
For a soft feel and a print that’s in the fabric rather than sitting on the fabric water based inks are the way to go. Arguably not as durable as Plastisol inks they can appear worn sooner as garment fibres stand up through the print over time.
Photographic & tonal prints
Our photographic TShirt work is excellent and we can achieve superb reproductions of Black & White images, Duotone and Colour images. We use various techniques depending on the garments, image and order size.
Full colour images
We use traditional CMYK or Spot Process to reproduce your colour designs. Please note that its often not economical to print runs of less than 100 with these techniques. Less is more is a good rule of thumb for Screen Print design. Some of the best T-Shirt designs use only 2 or 3 colours.
Glitter Ink and Metallic Foil
Consider a metallic glitter or metallic ink. We also stock a good range of metallic foils for that eye-catching shiny metallic finish. Applied using an adhesive this is a 3 step process and costs reflect that.
Fluorescent Ink
Choose from our range of fluorescent inks for maximum impact.
Reflective ink
We use only the best retro-reflective textile ink. Comes as a mid grey base but can be tinted slightly to suit your design. Avoid very fine detail.
Expanding ink
An ink additive that makes inks rise and expand during curing to give a 3D effect.
